What it costs
Professional smart film installation in Miami runs $55 to $90 per square foot installed, film and labor included. A single bathroom window is usually $600 to $1,200; a frameless shower enclosure $1,700 to $3,600; a two-panel sliding door $2,500 to $5,400. How we install it
We measure each pane on site, cut the film to size in our shop, and apply it to the interior face of the glass with a wet-mount squeegee method so there are no bubbles or dust. The busbar is bonded along one edge, the lead wire is routed inside the frame or along a mullion, and every edge is sealed against South Florida humidity. The low-voltage transformer goes in a closet, vanity or ceiling space and connects to a standard outlet. Most residential jobs are finished the same day; we test every panel and show you the controls before we leave.

Site visit and measurement
Every job starts with a free visit: we identify the glass type, measure each pane, agree the zones and switch positions and find a concealed spot for the transformer, then fix the price in writing.
Film cut to your glass
Each panel is cut to the pane with a small border, applied to the interior face, and the edges are sealed; frameless glass gets a finished, trimmed edge.
Concealed low-voltage wiring
The lead from each panel runs through the frame, channel, mullion or wall to the transformer, so nothing shows on the glass. Reviewers say it looks wireless.
Controls of your choice
A wall switch is standard; remotes, smart relays for Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa, occupancy sensors and dimming transformers are added per zone. See the control guide.
Testing and walkthrough
Every zone is switched, the transformer and switch are labelled, and you are shown how to clean the film and what the 2-year warranty covers.
Aftercare

How long does installation take?
A single window or shower takes two to three hours. A whole bathroom or a set of sliders is usually one day. Offices with several conference rooms are scheduled after hours over one or two evenings.
Does smart film work on any glass?
It bonds to clean, smooth glass: windows, shower enclosures, sliding doors, partitions, storefronts and impact glass. Heavily textured or frosted glass is not a candidate, and sun-facing laminated glass is assessed for heat load first.
Do I need an electrician?
Usually not. The film runs on 48–65 volts from a plug-in transformer. If you want a hard-wired wall switch or integration with a building automation system, we coordinate that and tell you before the job.
What is the warranty?
Two years on the film, the transformer and controller, and our labor, including the edge seal.
How long does a smart film installation take?
