Commercial Smart Film
Dynamic environments for forward-thinking enterprises.
Elevate Your Environment
Transform your corporate space. Commercial smart film creates adaptable environments that foster collaboration while ensuring absolute confidentiality for meetings and executive offices.
Key Benefits
- Instantly transition from an open, collaborative space to a private meeting room.
- Softens glare and diffuses harsh light in the frosted state (pair it with a solar-control film when heat is the problem).
- Enhances the modern, professional image of your corporate headquarters.
- Can double as a high-definition projection screen.

What it costs
Commercial smart film in Miami is priced per square foot, $55 to $90 installed, with volume pricing on projects over 200 square feet. A typical conference room with 100 to 200 square feet of glass runs $6,600 to $18,000; a storefront or reception wall is quoted after measurement. We provide a written scope, certificate of insurance and, when needed, after-hours installation at no extra charge. Pricing guide: smart film pricing guide.
How we install it
Commercial work is planned around your hours. We measure during the day, install in the evening or on a weekend, and tie the film into your existing lighting or AV control, or into Crestron, Control4 or Lutron, so a single switch or scene frosts the room. Wiring runs through the ceiling plenum or mullions; nothing is visible on the glass. Every project includes a walkthrough with your facilities or IT contact.
Where commercial smart film is used in South Florida
Offices and law firms
Conference rooms, partner offices and glass-walled boardrooms that must go private for a deposition, a review or a client call, then open again. See our office privacy glass page.
Medical and dental
Exam rooms, consultation rooms and imaging suites that frost when the room is in use, by switch or by occupancy sensor, so staff never have to think about it. Our medical and dental guide covers layouts and compliance questions.
Hotels and hospitality
Bathroom-to-bedroom partitions that make a guest room feel larger, spa treatment rooms and private dining that opens to the floor when it is not booked. See hotel smart film.
Retail and showrooms
Storefront glass that shows the merchandise by day and closes at night, VIP fitting rooms, and frosted panes that double as a rear-projection display for a promotion. A Homestead storefront install is on our projects page.
Salons, studios and clinics
Treatment rooms, consultation nooks and studios that need screening only while a client is inside, without giving up the daylight that makes the space feel open.
Multi-site rollouts
The same specification, switch layout and transformer placement repeated across locations, phased around trading hours, with one point of contact for the facilities team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can smart film be integrated with our building automation?
Yes. We wire for dry-contact switching and have integrated with Crestron, Control4, Lutron and standard lighting relays.
Is there an ongoing cost?
Only electricity: a 100 square foot panel draws roughly the power of a 40-watt bulb when clear and nothing when frosted.
Can you brand or print on the film?
The film itself is clear or frosted only, but it can be combined with a printed or etched vinyl logo band on the same glass.
How do you handle multi-location rollouts?
We schedule by site, keep one project contact, and deliver identical specifications and warranty paperwork for each location.
How do you schedule a commercial installation?
We measure during business hours, install in the evening or at the weekend, and phase larger projects by floor or by room so the space stays in use. A written scope, certificate of insurance and a walkthrough with your facilities or IT contact are part of every commercial job.
